Chamber Advocacy Works for Members
Our 2011-12 Fiscal Year ends June 30, and we are excited to review the advocacy work the Corvallis Chamber of Commerce has been engaged in this year.
The support of Chamber members has helped us work more effectively with local government, and has provided resources to provide educational opportunities to our membership and community. Among our accomplishments:
- Highway 34 by-pass,
- Economic Development Commission,
- City budget, and
- Student housing developments
We have had a busy year and look forward to continuing to expand our advocacy work. As this is an election year, we expect there will be many opportunities for receptions to meet candidates, breakfast forums to learn about issues, and topics for exploration and collaboration.
