City Commission and Committee Openings
One of the ways the business community can be most effective in influencing decision making is to become involoved at the point where decision making begins. In Corvallis and Benton County that point is usually with local committee and commission. The City of Corvallis has shared with us the list of current opening on all City Committees, Commissions and Adivsory groups. The list is attached. Please have a look and see if you have a passion or interest in getting involved in any areas governed by any of these issues. If you would like to be involved, but are unsure or have questions or concerns about the commitment, please call Mysty Rusk at the Chamber Coalition, or call Mayor Charlie Tomlinson, who is also a member of the Chamber Coalition's GAC. For additional information about how to get involved with the City of Corvallis, see the Get Involved page of the cities website ( www.ci.corvallis.or.us )
