HOW THE ENDORSEMENT PROCESS WORKS

To receive an official endorsement from the Chandler Chamber, candidates must complete all relevant steps of a three-part evaluation process designed to assess their positions on issues important to Chandler's business community.

Candidate Outreach & Policy Agenda

Candidates seeking endorsement receive a preliminary outreach from the Chamber's GAC Committee to determine if candidates are seeking Chamber Endorsement. GAC Committee provides Chamber's Policy Agenda to interested individuals to ensure alignment and provide education.

Endorsement Interview

Candidates are invited to participate in a one-on-one endorsement interview with the Chamber CEO and members of the GAC Committee. This deeper conversation allows a thorough assessment of the candidate's alignment with Chamber priorities.

Candidate Forum & Board Consideration

All City Council and Mayoral Candidates are invited to participate in a public Candidate Forum, free to attend and open to the community. The Chamber's GAC Committee makes Endorsement recommendations to the Chamber Board for final approval.
